Recommendations (For All Sorts of Things)

 I've got a lot of favorites. Books, games, movies, products, all of it! Here are some things I'm loving right now and why:

Books:

Almost Flying by Jake Maia Arlow- This book is by one of my favorite authors, and is written super well. It's a mix between a romance and realistic fiction and will have you wanting more. The main character is 13, and super relatable for tweens. I'm not going to go into the story, but go check it out!

Hazel Bly & The Deep Blue Sea by Ashley Herring Blake- This one is sad, happy, heartbreaking, joyful and extremely good. If you're looking for a tearjerker, some romance, and a great plot, come check this amazing book out!

Games:

Online: Avatar World- This game is the best. It's a role-playing game where there are different locations like stores, parks, houses, and LOTS more. You can design your own house with the many furniture options, and there are also many different houses you can choose from! You have 3 free character slots to start, but for a small price you can get 30 more! What's nice about Avatar World is that there are no ads, and it's super enjoyable even without buying packs. There is a store you can visit if you're looking to deepen your role plays, but you can make really strong, fun role plays without them! Super recommend!

Physical: Balderdash- This creative game is definitely a favorite in my family. One person is chosen as the "dasher" for the round and they choose a word off one of the cards in the deck included in the game. Then everybody writes down the word and tries to come up with a definition for it, but only the dasher knows what it actually means, and writes down the correct definition. Then the definitions are read aloud by the dasher, and everyone votes for which they think is real. If someone votes for yours, you get a point, if you vote for the correct one, you get a point, and if nobody votes for the correct one the dasher gets 3 points. Each point moves you up one space on the board, and whoever gets to the end first wins. The words are EXTREMELY obscure and hilarious, and I absolutely LOVE this game.

Movies:

Lilo & Stitch- Love, love LOVE!!! This movie is super cute, heartwarming, and has a great plot! I'm not a huge fan of animated things, but for Lilo & Stitch, I make an exception. I love the characters, I love the mix of realistic and totally-not realistic, and this movie is a must-watch for me. Please, go watch it!

The Parent Trap- The newer version of The Parent Trap is such a good one. They casted it SUPER well, and it has everything. Friendship, romance, family, and all that good stuff. It's heartwarming and hilarious, dramatic and funny, and always a good watch. I've watched about a gazillion times, and it still hasn't gotten old. Totally recommend.

Products:

Tree Hut Shea Sugar Scrubs- These exfoliating scrubs will leave your skin SO happy, and they come in lots of different amazing scents. Lychee Kiss, tangerine, blue musk, so many! They make my skin feel amazing, and they are so fun to use. They brighten up every bath or shower, and I absolutely love them.

Laneige Lip Sleeping Masks- Ooh, these are soooo good! They moisturize your lips and keep them nice and soft! They feel so good, and they come in so many different flavors!
