Spring Ready

Springtime is just around the corner, so I thought I would share a 5 things I do to start the season: 1) CLEAN- I know, I know, this is obvious! But spring cleaning is such a good motivation to detox a space! I'm not saying do a full-house deep clean (obviously I'm not saying DON'T do that), but just tidying up, organizing a room, cleaning some windows, or really anything will do! 2) Decorate- I love this one! Switch up your decor from winter to spring! Think soft colors, florals, greens and pinks! I personally switch my displayed candle! Good bye, Capricorn candle (I know that Capricorn isn't all of winter!), hello Sun-Drenched Linen! 3) Set some goals- Setting yourself new goals for the new season is SUCH a good thing to do! For me, it's exercising more! Should be a good one now that the weather is starting to warm up! 4) Get outside!- I know in some places it isn't warm yet (ahem, here, ahem), but try to get out, see the blooming world a little! Just yester...

Packing Like a Pro

Hey guys! I'm leaving on a trip today, so I thought I would give some packing tips! 1) Make a list! I always start by making a big list of what I need, slowly adding to it as I go. This helps me not forget anything and stay organized! I cross off each thing as I pack it, so at the end it is SO satisfying to see the whole list crossed off. The list is key! 2) Gather things up! I never pack as I go. I always get EVERYTHING in one place to see what's the biggest, what's the smallest, what should go wear, etc. This way is much better because it lets you really see what you have and how to work with it with the amount of space you have. 3) Pack necessities first! After gathering things up, always do necessities first. If some of your extra things won't fit, oh well, but if your necessities don't, that's a problem! This ensures that you will have everything you NEED on your trip. 4) Think about where you're staying! If you will have access to laundry, bring less...

Back and Better Than Ever!

Hi guys! I know it has been FOREVER, but I'm back with a mega post! A mega post is kind of just a big update of mini versions of posts I've been thinking about writing since my last but haven't had the time to do so! Let's get to it! Mini Post 1- Birthday!!!! Since my last post, I've hit a birthday! I had such a great day and got to celebrate with family and friends for lots of fun. Some of my favorite gifts were my Pink Palm Puff hoodie, Laneige Lip Mask, and a big one, a treadmill! I love birthdays SO much, so this was really exciting! Mini Post 2- Taylor Time In case I haven't mentioned, I am a huge swiftie (fan of Taylor Swift). I absolutely LOVE her music and her work. Recently, I've been listening all across her discography with one of her newer songs "Opalite" being in the mix a lot due to the new music video! I thought it was so fun and interesting, such a Taylor video! I've also been listening a lot to one of Taylor's besties rec...

How to Have Great* Hair (Yes, the * is on Purpose)

Hi everyone! In today's post I'm going to give some tips on how to have healthy, soft hair. The title has an asterisk because there is not one way to have "great" hair, or even a definition for it. Everyone has their own idea of what it looks like. To me, I just like to have soft, healthy hair. I don't change my natural texture (wavy). So in this post I'm going to share how I do that. Shampoo For shampoo, I make sure to use a shampoo that is good for my hair texture. I tend to stay away from "curly hair shampoo" because although my hair has some curls, it tends to not be the best for my hair type. I normally use shampoo that is made for all textures, or doesn't specify the hair texture. I don't use one set shampoo, but I do like Dove and Herbal Essences. And if you're going a little more expensive, I love Dae.  Conditioner Conditioner is an entirely different category from shampoo. It REALLY depends on what texture and type of hair you ...

Shearling Hand Mist Touchette- touchland I was so excited when I opened this UGG-looking touchland hand sanitizer holder! It's cute, functional and not to mention super useful! Watermelon Slice Peptide Lip Treatment- rhode Oh my gosh. This lip balm from rhode is AMAZING. It smells good, feels good, and is moisturizing AND glossy, so it looks good too! Monday Tips

You know Mondays. Waking up early for school, school IN GENERAL, no more weekend, homework, e.t.c. It's not normally very fun! I always have a hard time with Monday, so I decided to try and find some ways to improve them! Here's what I've got: 1.  Start with a cup of water Starting the day feeling hydrated and refreshed actually helps! It makes you feel (and be!) healthy and awake from the beginning. I suggest keeping a water bottle by your bed for maximum reachability :) 2. Clothes first! As tempting as it is to stay in your pajamas until the last second, putting on your clothes first helps you feel awake and ready. You get a CRUCIAL step in getting ready done with immediately. Pro-tip: Find your perfect Monday outfit. It could be something comfy to help you ease in, or a power outfit that gives you confidence. 3. Go through the day Do a quick run down of your day and try to find things to look forward to. If you really can't find any, make some! Put a bag of sucking...
